The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) has launched the Emergency Student Support Handout for Continuing Studies. The program provides financial assistance to students who face difficulty continuing their studies due to a significant decrease in their household income or income from part-time work due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.
