August 8th, Monday. Weather: Sunny<\/p>\r\n

Today I went to Mt. Fuji with some friends. I woke up at 8 in the morning and after doing some preparations I left for Shinjuku. I met my friends at Shinjuku, and we got on a bus for Mt. Fuji. It took around 2 and a half hours for the bus to make it to our destination, but the bus was late.<\/p>\r\n

We arrived at the mountain at around 2 PM. We waited for around an hour and a half, then we started climbing the mountain.
\r\nIt was incredibly difficult; we climbed around 1000 meters in one day. Everyone was really exhausted. At around 3200 meters we stopped at a mountain hut to stay the night.<\/p>\r\n

The next day we woke up at 2 AM and started our climb to the summit. There were a lot of people climbing early, and it was really busy at the top, but the view of the sunrise from the top was beautiful. It was freezing at the top, so we started climbing back down almost immediately. It took us around 4 and a half hours to get down. Once down everyone was exhausted again, so we immediately returned home.<\/p>\r\n

The trip was really fun, but I think doing it once is good enough.<\/p>\r\n
