I<\/span>\u2019ve never seen such a thing in Japan.<\/p>\r\n<p>Is it because Japanese people are cold? More than that, I think Japanese people hesitate too much, even though they want to give up their seat. \u201cI\u2019m still young enough to stand!\u201d Many people may think that. And if you end up saying \u201cPlease, have a seat\u201d, some people will more likely respond \u201cIt\u2019s okay to stand up!\u201d rather than \u201cThank you!\u201d.<\/p>\r\n<p>It\u2019s rare but sometimes you can hear on the train someone saying \u201cHow rude you are to think I\u2019m that old!\u201d &#8230;<\/p>\r\n<p>It\u2019s hard to take actions when you think of the other person that much.
