How I came to like this Japanese Idol<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

\u00a0It happened after I came to Japan, nearly after I finished my quarantine. It was a normal day: as usual I overslept, as usual I went to school to take classes. As soon as the class was over, I didn\u2019t know what to do and felt bored. That\u2019s when I received a message from my friend: \u201cWanna go see some underground idols gig?\u201d. I didn\u2019t have any plans so I asked my friend \u201cOkay, when\u2019s the live?\u201d. My friend told me it was in Ikebukuro at half past four.<\/p>\r\n


\u00a0The Japanese lesson ended at 4 o\u2019clock so I wasn\u2019t sure I could make it on time, but my friend said \u201cThe performance always starts late, so you will get there in time\u201d, so I immediately changed my clothes and went out.<\/p>\r\n


\u00a0At that time, I wasn\u2019t that particularly interested in idols or Japanese pop stars. But I was searching for something to do during the period of coronavirus: since I came to Japan my days weren\u2019t completely exciting, apart from the school I couldn\u2019t speak with Japanese people, I couldn\u2019t improve my language skills and there were so many things I wasn\u2019t used to yet.<\/p>\r\n


\u00a0I felt I wanted to change my days a little bit, and accepted my friend\u2019s invitation. It was the first time in a while that I met my friend. This idol band name was \u201cShinshi Todoroku, Gekijou no Gotoku\u201d, abbrev. Shingeki.<\/p>\r\n


\u00a0There were two lives on that same day. I watched the first concert. Their songs were so much different from the usual pop songs. They were more like rock, intense and not as cute as I imagined. At first, I actually felt they were noisy. But at a certain point during a song, my eyes met with the ones of the singer, and my feelings changed. I felt it was beautiful. I didn\u2019t know much of the songs, but I kept imitating the people around me, copying what they were doing, and vibe with them. And the live itself ended soon, it didn\u2019t last long: but it was great, and I felt at ease.<\/p>\r\n


\u00a0After the concert, when we were buying merchandise, my friend suggested we should get a picture with the idols. As we went there, I was able to tell my favorite idol what I thought of the concert, together with my self-introduction. She replied to me and was very nice. After we took a picture together, my favorite pop star told me \u201cLet\u2019s be friends!\u201d. My heart stopped beating for a second. And yes, I became a real fan at that time. Now, if I can, I go watch her concert every week. However, I’m not thinking of trying to get married or something like that: it\u2019s more enjoying live concerts with everyone else, a part of my life in Japan.<\/p>\r\n
