Job hunting in Japan is very unique. Many times, it takes a huge amount of time from when international students start job hunting to the time they join a company in Japan. Foreign students face many challenges in finding employment at Japanese companies: due to cultural differences, working conditions, or the difficulty of communicating in Japanese.<\/p>\r\n

ARC Tokyo Japanese Language School helps students introducing jobs that meet their needs: the school has obtained a license for free-charging job placement and, in addition, a national qualified career consultant is a permanent member of the staff in campus to provide full support.<\/p>\r\n

ARC provides information about job seminars and companies which are actively looking to hire foreign workers. The ARC staff and teachers were helpful, concerned and professional in every way. The school\u2019s staff offers support in all aspects of finding employment, including frequent consultations for job-seekers, help with preparing and revising resumes, preparation, advice and practice for interviews, as well as follow-up consultations. In my case, staff members even helped me make a demonstration video which was required for one of the companies to which I applied. I am glad to say, I was hired by that company.<\/p><\/div>

I always worried whether I could really find a job. However, I gained a lot of inspiration and support by participating in the ARC's Business Japanese Course and making proper use of the employment support service. Whether it is a business class, a job support room or a job seminar, from resume writing to interview techniques, the teacher took into account all aspects and explained them in great detail. In particular, the many mock interviews not only improved my self-confidence, but also gradually improved my lack of preparation. In the end, I was lucky enough to get an offer, and I\u2019m really grateful for the school\u2019s help. I think the school\u2019s employment support system is very complete and is a great support for students who are looking for jobs. I sincerely hope that everyone can make full use of these resources to achieve their dreams.<\/p><\/div>

- Education: Graduated from a junior college - Period of study at ARC: April 2024 \u2013 September 2025 - Japanese level: Before coming to Japan \u2013 N3 \u2192 After finishing ARC \u2013 Passed N1 ARC has a well-organized system, and the teachers and staff are all very kind. The classes are easy to understand, and the teachers answer questions patiently. The administrative staff also respond warmly to office procedures and daily life consultations. ARC\u2019s job-hunting curriculum is substantial, and I was able to learn the basics of job searching. Even now, I actively use the polite expressions and email writing skills that I learned at ARC in my workplace. At ARC, you can study a wide variety of topics in many different fields. In elective classes, you can choose courses that match your future goals, such as higher education or employment. There are also off-campus learning opportunities \u2014 for example, a bus trip to Mother Farm and a visit to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building \u2014 which gave me valuable new experiences. Looking back, I truly feel that studying at ARC was a wonderful decision. I highly recommend it!<\/p><\/div>
