“Tanabata” is coming soon! “Tanabata” is celebrated to commemorate the romantic story of two lovers represented by the stars Vega (Orihime) and Altair (Hikoboshi) who are only allowed to meet each other once a year as long as the skies are clear.
It is said that your wishes will come true if you write them down on strips of paper called Tanzaku and hang them on bamboo branches.
ARC students including those who are waiting for the opportunities to enter Japan as well as ARC staff made wishes.
The students who haven’t been to able to come to Japan sent us Email so that the staff wrote and hang Tanzaku instead of him.
There are so many wishes such as prayers for school success, wishes for health, wishes for coming to Japan soon, etc. Some of them have a lot of requests in small strip of papers.
It is rainy season right now, but we hope it will be a sunny day on July 7th and all of our wishes will come true!
