８月８日 月よう日 はれ
今日は友だちといっしょに富士山へ行った。朝八時におきて、じゅんびしたあと新宿まで出た。新宿で友だちにあって、それからバスにのった。新宿から富士山まで二時間半ぐらいかかるけど、バスはおくれた。
ごご二時ごろに山に到着した。一時間半ぐらいまって、山に登りはじめた。すごくたいへんだった。
一日に1,000メートルぐらいのぼった。みんなはすごくつかれていた。3,200メートルぐらいの山ごやにとまった。
つぎの日は朝二時におきて、頂上までのぼった。たくさん人がのぼっていてこんでいた。頂上から見る日の出は本当にうつくしかった。でもとてもさむかったからすぐ下に下った。下るとき、四時間半ぐらいかかった。みんなはまた本当につかれていたから、すぐいえにかえった。
旅行はとても楽しかったけど、富士山にのぼることはいちどだけでいいよ。
Summer Diary

August 8th, Monday. Weather: Sunny
Today I went to Mt. Fuji with some friends. I woke up at 8 in the morning and after doing some preparations I left for Shinjuku. I met my friends at Shinjuku, and we got on a bus for Mt. Fuji. It took around 2 and a half hours for the bus to make it to our destination, but the bus was late.
We arrived at the mountain at around 2 PM. We waited for around an hour and a half, then we started climbing the mountain.
It was incredibly difficult; we climbed around 1000 meters in one day. Everyone was really exhausted. At around 3200 meters we stopped at a mountain hut to stay the night.
The next day we woke up at 2 AM and started our climb to the summit. There were a lot of people climbing early, and it was really busy at the top, but the view of the sunrise from the top was beautiful. It was freezing at the top, so we started climbing back down almost immediately. It took us around 4 and a half hours to get down. Once down everyone was exhausted again, so we immediately returned home.
The trip was really fun, but I think doing it once is good enough.
