March 28th, we celebrated sakura season doing hanami in Ueno Park, one of the most famous and visited spots to admire Japanese cherry trees in full blooming.
As often happens in this time of the year, the weather was unstable, drizzly with a chilly breeze, but that very same breeze gifted us with an amazing effect: the hana-fubuki, when cherry blossom petals scatter in the wind like snow flakes. ARC students enjoyed the view sharing snacks, taking selfies and playing games.
